The DWR (Durable Water Repellent) coating on the windproof softshell fabric ensures that the rain that fall on the pants form water droplets. These easily roll off the fabric.
This makes this jacket resistant to mild rain showers and splashes on the trail.
The hoodie is not waterproof and therefore less suitable for wearing during heavy rain showers.
Reflective details ensure that you are also visible in the dark.
