Wear this insulated vest filled with recycled duck down under your winter jacket as part of your layering system, or simply on its own during chilly days. This way, you're guaranteed to stay warm. The Adventure Lightweight Down Vest is made from 100% recycled polyester, and the lining is also entirely recycled. It repels moisture thanks to the PFC-free water-repellent finish. The vest doesn't have taped seams, so it's not entirely waterproof. The down itself is also water-repellent, due to the Texcote Nano treatment it has undergone. This ensures good insulation even in damp conditions. The narrow baffle construction keeps the down in place.
The zippered pockets keep your hands warm and your belongings secure, and the YKK zippers feature recycled tape. The vest is lightweight and can be packed down very small, making it convenient to carry along.
If your jacket ever rips, you can use the included patch to repair it. Make sure the surface is dry, and that the patch extends at least 1 cm beyond the edges of the tear. Position it well before pressing firmly to seal. Good to go for many more years!
