Technical details
- The KITE APC (angle power control) system puts the electronics into sleep mode when the binoculars are in a resting position and automatically activates them when you start observing.
- 120-hour battery life with APC power saving: the binoculars have two battery compartments, each containing two AA batteries. One compartment has two functional AA batteries that last for 60 hours, while the other compartment contains two reserve AA batteries. By swapping the batteries after the first 60 hours, you can continue for an additional 60 hours.
- The binoculars have a 2° correction angle and military-level stabilization capability. This allows for a stable image from moving vehicles, boats, airplanes, and other highly unstable platforms.
- The binoculars are filled with nitrogen gas to prevent internal fogging. This also makes the binoculars resistant to changes in temperature and humidity.
