"When we talk about Morakniv knives, we must mention the skilled craftsman Rombo-Anders Eriksson and his innovative spirit. It was during a lunch break at the end of the 19th century when he saw his son Carl's new lunchbox made of vulcanized fiber. Immediately, he saw the potential, cut out a piece, and transformed it into a knife sheath. Whether he ever replaced his son's lunchbox is still unclear, but his life's work and legacy live on forever."

The Rombo has an ergonomically shaped handle made of raw ash wood from European FSC® certified forests. Ash wood is amazingly naturally durable. The sheath is made of vegetable-tanned leather, which naturally shields it from the elements.
