General
The Storm Breaker Winter Rain Jacket Essential is an easy-to-carry jacket for women that allows you to ride carefree through wind and rain. The front has extra protection against wind, the back against rain. The comfort level is consistently high.
- This jacket has a great fit thanks to the use of semi-stretch polyester. The sleeve is nicely pre-shaped.
- Behind the front outer layer is the Storm Breaker membrane. This blocks wind and conducts excess body heat away at the same time.
- At the back, fabric with the Poray 10.000 membrane is used. Its microscopic pores keep out rain, even when it's constantly dripping and you're riding at high speed. In the opposite direction, towards the outside, perspiration can escape. The higher the Poray number, the better the waterproofing.
- Thanks to the Poray 10.000 membrane on the back, this jacket is also breathable. The higher the Poray number, the better the breathability.
- The water-repellent DWR coating is applied over the entire jacket. This coating ensures that rainwater beads off the surface and does not pass through the jacket.
- The Storm Breaker Winter Rain Jacket Essential can be folded compactly. Extra convenient is that it can be stored in the integrated back pocket. This small, zippered package can be stowed away in a bag or under the saddle.
- Reflective details on the sleeves and front ensure that other road users notice you just a little better.

Washing waterproof garments
Always review the jacket labels before washing for specific washing instructions. We recommend that you wash your waterproof jacket with a technical detergent on a regular basis. This prevents damage to the waterproof layer. Rise it out well so that there are no soap residues. Never use fabric softener.
Impregnating waterproof garments
When you impregnate your jacket, it is a good idea to put it in the dryer after washing it. This reactivates the water repellent layer on the outside. After several washes, the outside of your garment will absorb moisture. The jacket will become heavy and feel cold and clammy. When that happens, it is time to impregnate the jacket. Use a product made for the washing machine or choose a spray.
