General

The Trench Coat is based on the rain jacket developed in 1980 for skirt-wearing cyclists in the Netherlands. The bottom flap with double zipper lets you protect both your upper body and lower legs from rain while you cycle. The flap is removable thanks to the two zippers so that you can wear the coat with the extra flap when cycling or without it when walking. The look of the coat has been considerably revamped and the asymmetrical fastening, detailed belt, matte material and feminine cut create a slim, modern silhouette. The classic ventilation flap at the back and the soft inner lining provide extra comfort.

Washing waterproof garments

Always review the jacket labels before washing for specific washing instructions. We recommend that you wash your waterproof jacket with a technical detergent on a regular basis. This prevents damage to the waterproof layer. Rise it out well so that there are no soap residues. Never use fabric softener.

Impregnating waterproof garments

When you impregnate your jacket, it is a good idea to put it in the dryer after washing it. This reactivates the water repellent layer on the outside. After several washes, the outside of your garment will absorb moisture. The jacket will become heavy and feel cold and clammy. When that happens, it is time to impregnate the jacket. Use a product made for the washing machine or choose a spray.
