General
Old PET bottles have been transformed as if by magic into Ripstop Repreve outer material.
The jacket has been treated with Teflon Ecolite DWR (60% bio based) to prevent it from retaining water.
After several washes, its water repellent properties can be restored using a special waterproofing agent.
The zip is protected with a storm flap.
The jacket can be stowed away in its pocket or hood.
Velcro cuffs keep out the wind and rain.
Having a waterproof rating of 10,000 mm, it provides adequate protection from normal showers.
When walking with a heavily loaded backpack, the material may allow water to seep through beneath the shoulder straps.

Washing waterproof garments
Always review the jacket labels before washing for specific washing instructions. We recommend that you wash your waterproof jacket with a technical detergent on a regular basis. This prevents damage to the waterproof layer. Rise it out well so that there are no soap residues. Never use fabric softener.
Impregnating waterproof garments
When you impregnate your jacket, it is a good idea to put it in the dryer after washing it. This reactivates the water repellent layer on the outside. After several washes, the outside of your garment will absorb moisture. The jacket will become heavy and feel cold and clammy. When that happens, it is time to impregnate the jacket. Use a product made for the washing machine or choose a spray.
