Stay warm and dry this winter with the Ayacucho Highland Winter II Parka. This coat is ideal for cold days when it may snow or become very windy. The Sorona insulation has been produced with tomorrow’s world in mind. Sorona® is bluesign® and Oeko-Tex® certified, and made of 37% renewable, plant-based materials. The production process for this fibre is more energy efficient and its CO2 emissions are approximately 60% lower than for comparable fibres. This technical filling is light, warm, breathable and quick drying. The outer material is water repellent and has been given a Teflon Eco Elite non-fluorinated DWR coating. In addition to all these technical features the coat also looks rather stylish and cool. It has enough pockets to store your gloves and other personal items. When wearing the hood you will notice the cosy warmth of the Sherpa Fleece liner. 2 handwarmer pockets. 1 zipped breast pocket. 1 zipped internal pocket. Storm flap covering the entire zip. The fabric will withstand a rain shower but it is not fully waterproof. The seams are not taped and will consequently allow water to permeate during persistent rain.
