The Himalaya III Hooded Down jacket from Ayacucho ensures that you really won't feel the cold outside in a hurry. The jacket is filled with responsibly sourced goose down and keeps moisture out, thanks to the Texcote Nano treatment the hydrophobic down has undergone. The down is kept in place through the jacket’s micro baffle construction. The jacket has an adjustable hood and two handwarmer pockets with zip. This lightweight down jacket can be packed up very small, making it perfect to carry with you.

- Een pluimgewicht die je vlotjes in je rugzak gepropt krijgt.
- Niet geschikt om wandelingen te doen waarbij je zweet. Natte plekken zijn snel zichtbaar bij deze jas.

- Lekker warm bij temperaturen rond het vriespunt met 3-lagen. Mooi design. Makkelijk op te bergen in rugzak.

- zeer licht mooi
- Ik zou er niet echt mee naar de Himalaya trekken, maar bij temperaturen rond het vriespunt best ok. Bij lagere temperaturen zijn wat extra warme onderlagen nodig.

Washing down clothing
Down has unique insulating properties. You can take certain precautionary measures to retain these properties while washing your clothing. Always check the garment labels before washing for specific instructions. It's important to use a special down detergent. Never use fabric softener. When washing waterproof garments with down, always use a down detergent.
Drying down clothing
Down products must be dried in a special way. It's best to place down garments in the dryer at the lowest setting with a few tennis balls. You must wash and dry the items in a spacious drum. You can also allow your jacket to dry on a flat surface. Shake it our regularly so that the feathers do not clump together.
It's best to impregnate the outer layer of your jacket with a spray.
