The Ayacucho Bora Softshell is an ideal jacket for local outings. Wear the Bora for a daytime walk, a quick cycling tour or a trip to the city. A softshell jacket is ideal for day-to-day use, because it doesn’t always rain, but you are still protected from wind and the occasional shower. The jacket is breathable and wards off (cold) wind. Light rain is not a problem either. The zipped pockets are ideal to safely store any necessary items. This Repreve fabric is recycled from PET bottles and doesn't contain any BPA.

Washing a softshell
To retain the unique properties of a softshell, it's important to wash your jacket regularly with technical detergent and to rinse it well. Do not use fabric softener. Always review the garment labels before washing for specific washing instructions.
Impregnating a softshell
If it's allowed, it is a good idea to put the softshell in the dryer after washing it. This activates the water repellent finish on the outside. After several washes, the outside of your technical clothing will absorb more moisture faster. When that happens, it is time to impregnate the jacket. Use a product made for the washing machine or choose a spray.
