The story of CYELL all started at the kitchen table of Cynthia, in the spring of ‘94. As Cynthia and her friend Ella enjoyed a cup of tea, the sun was shining through the window.
Both at the end of their twenties with a busy social life and nice job. Vivacious and elegant women. As they mused over holidays and sunny destinations, the conversation turned to the subject of swimwear.

Having outgrown the short lived joy of inexpensive or ill-fitting swimwear. They wanted to be able to make a more conscious choice, for something that celebrates their body and represents their blossoming self-confidence. Looking for something new they discussed their needs; most importantly stylish shapes that compliment their different attributes alongside feminine and fun prints that feel elegant and extraordinary. This became the conversation that started an exciting new venture…
