General

Ellesse is a French fashion brand with Italian roots, which was known in the 1970s and 1980s for its wide range of skiwear and tennis clothes. It quickly became an internationally popular brand and sponsored famous names such as Anna Kournikova and Boris Becker. Ellesse is actually a deformation of L.S., the initials of Leonardo Servadio. As a fervent skier, he founded the brand in 1959 and the focus was already clearly on sportswear and accessories. Today, the extensive collection is partly based on classic models that were popular at the time. Nevertheless, the brand's clothing can be used to create a modern, young outfit. It therefore stands for a sporty, active lifestyle.
