With the NORTH FJORD jacket, you can react quickly to sudden changes in the weather. This jacket was made for hiking along the fjords of Scandinavia and is warm, waterproof and windproof. The NORTH FJORD is one of the lightest jackets in our 3-in-1 range, yet it is also extremely robust. The waterproof hardshell is made of a hard wearing TEXAPORE fabric and built to cope with the rigours of trekking and hiking with a pack. The zip-in inner jacket features a warm synthetic fibre fill and a windproof outer fabric. This combination is more than a match for Nordic temperatures, icy coastal wind and light showers. The two jackets are docked using a system zip, and can also be worn separately. This means you can stash one jacket in your pack until it's needed, or even leave one at home.

Washing waterproof garments
Always review the jacket labels before washing for specific washing instructions. We recommend that you wash your waterproof jacket with a technical detergent on a regular basis. This prevents damage to the waterproof layer. Rise it out well so that there are no soap residues. Never use fabric softener.
Impregnating waterproof garments
When you impregnate your jacket, it is a good idea to put it in the dryer after washing it. This reactivates the water repellent layer on the outside. After several washes, the outside of your garment will absorb moisture. The jacket will become heavy and feel cold and clammy. When that happens, it is time to impregnate the jacket. Use a product made for the washing machine or choose a spray.
