The shell jacket is made of lightweight, windproof and waterproof TEXAPORE ECOSPHERE. This fabric is also very breathable, so when you're moving fast on steep, uphill trails, you'll still feel fit and fresh. Under the shell, there's a windproof inner jacket with very warm MICROGUARD ECOSPHERE synthetic insulation. So even when the temperature dips below zero, you'll still be warm and cosy. The WHITNEY PEAK also comes with an added bonus: all the materials are 100% recycled. The inner jacket and outer jacket can be worn individually. Simply unzip the system zip, and you have two separate jackets for trans-seasonal wear.

Washing waterproof garments
Always review the jacket labels before washing for specific washing instructions. We recommend that you wash your waterproof jacket with a technical detergent on a regular basis. This prevents damage to the waterproof layer. Rise it out well so that there are no soap residues. Never use fabric softener.
Impregnating waterproof garments
When you impregnate your jacket, it is a good idea to put it in the dryer after washing it. This reactivates the water repellent layer on the outside. After several washes, the outside of your garment will absorb moisture. The jacket will become heavy and feel cold and clammy. When that happens, it is time to impregnate the jacket. Use a product made for the washing machine or choose a spray.
