If snowy hiking trails are your thing, you need proper protection from the cold and wind - but you don't have to leave your sophisticated style at home! The ATHLETIC DOWN JACKET is the perfect combination of fashion and functionality. The asymmetric design with side zip makes this down jacket a real trend setter. The smooth, shiny outer fabric and the special design of the baffles give this jacket a stylish, playful look, but these details are also functional: the STORMLOCK shell fabric is windproof, and the baffles provide plenty of lofting space for the warm RDS-certified goose down fill. The full-length front pocket has a soft fleece lining and a zip on both sides, and is ideal for keeping important little items safe and sound. And if it starts to rain or snow on your hiking tour, simply combine the ATHLETIC DOWN JACKET with a waterproof shell jacket using the SNAP-IN System.

Washing down clothing

 

Down has unique insulating properties. You can take certain precautionary measures to retain these properties while washing your clothing. Always check the garment labels before washing for specific instructions. It's important to use a special down detergent. Never use fabric softener. When washing waterproof garments with down, always use a down detergent.

 

Drying down clothing

 

Down products must be dried in a special way. It's best to place down garments in the dryer at the lowest setting with a few tennis balls. You must wash and dry the items in a spacious drum. You can also allow your jacket to dry on a flat surface. Shake it our regularly so that the feathers do not clump together. 

 

It's best to impregnate the outer layer of your jacket with a spray.
