LifeStraw Universal is the first Bottle Adapter Kit with a 2-stage filter. With 2 sizes of screw caps, it allows you to turn your favourite water bottle into a powerful water filter.
Stage 1: Hollow Fiber Membrane, Removes 99.9999% of bacteria (E. coli, etc.), Removes 99.9% of protozoa (Giardia, Cryptosporidium, etc.).
Stage 2: Activated Carbon Capsule, Reduces chlorine, Reduces bad odour and taste, Reduces organic chemical matter (Pesticides, Herbicides, VOC).
LifeStraw Universal is Chemical free, All Materials are US FDA approved, Meets US EPA drinking water standards, Requires no electrical power or batteries.
Lifetime: 4,000 liters (1000 gallons) for the hollow fiber membrane // 100 liters (26,4 gallons) for the replaceable activated carbon capsule.
The LifeStraw Universal Adapter Kit fits a wide variety of popular water bottle shapes and sizes and the following have been tested for compatibility: Klean Kanteen, Nalgene, Camelbak, Hydroflask. This kit may fit additional bottles with compatible mouth diameter, threading, and a minimum bottle height of over 18,5 cm (7.3 inch).
