Outdated due to Sri Lanka context
- In het algemeen ben ik enorm fan van Lonely Planet. (gebruiksgemak, duidelijkheid)
- Niet door fout van Lonely Planet, maar door Covid-19 periode (en zelfs misschien de 2019 Easter attacks) - maar vooral de 2022 economische crisis zorgen ervoor dat veel informatie wat outdated is na 2-3 jaar. Sommige volgordes van highlights (ex. Nuwara Eliya - Horton Plains en Ella) staan in rare volgorde

De beste reisgids voor welk land ook!
- Logisch opgebouwd: kaarten met bezienswaardigheden, hotels, restaurants, tips en tricks ter plekke. Extra informatie over het land dat je bezoekt: eveneens welke gebruiken, munteenheid en tot wat voor stekker Je nodig hebt.

Een vaste waarde
- Alle LP boeken zijn volgens een vast stramien opgebouwd: logisch, gedetailleerd en voor elk budget tips. Goede omschrijving van bezienswaardigheden dikwijls voorzien van foto's.
- In het Engels, wat voor sommige mensen wel een probleem kan zijn.
