General
Ladies' padded ski jacket with belt and detachable hood. The Luhta Porovaara jacket was made to offer efficient protection from cold and snow, so you can concentrate on enjoying the thrill of skiing - and why not the après-ski, too. The jacket is made from a matte polyester fabric, which is highly resistant to wind and water. Layered on top of this material, there are decorative sections of slightly shiny polyamide fabric on the chest, hood and sides of the sleeves. The jacket has all the important key features for skiing: there is a snow lock on the hem, knitted cuffs on the sleeves as well as a comprehensive selection of pockets both on the inside and outside offering ample room for ski pass, phone, gloves and everything else you might need.

Washing waterproof garments
Always review the jacket labels before washing for specific washing instructions. We recommend that you wash your waterproof jacket with a technical detergent on a regular basis. This prevents damage to the waterproof layer. Rise it out well so that there are no soap residues. Never use fabric softener.
Impregnating waterproof garments
When you impregnate your jacket, it is a good idea to put it in the dryer after washing it. This reactivates the water repellent layer on the outside. After several washes, the outside of your garment will absorb moisture. The jacket will become heavy and feel cold and clammy. When that happens, it is time to impregnate the jacket. Use a product made for the washing machine or choose a spray.
