Meet the awesome Melton by Protest. This fantastic ski and snowboard anorak has street attitude and mountain functionality. The Melton is part of our Geotech series of seriously technical clothing. The fabric is softshell, which is water resistant, windproof and highly breathable. Another advantage of softshell is that it is very flexible making it the perfect fabric for those riders who want unrestricted movement. With 10K water resistance and 10g breathability, this anorak will keep you warm and dry while on the slopes. The Melton has a relaxed fit and a long length. To make this style functional for the slopes we have added a zipper down the side and at the collar so that you can easily get the Melton on and off. The large front pouch pocket is zippered on both sides to keep the snow out. A must-have for your winter adventure, the Melton by Protest.

Washing waterproof garments

Always review the jacket labels before washing for specific washing instructions. We recommend that you wash your waterproof jacket with a technical detergent on a regular basis. This prevents damage to the waterproof layer. Rise it out well so that there are no soap residues. Never use fabric softener.

Impregnating waterproof garments

When you impregnate your jacket, it is a good idea to put it in the dryer after washing it. This reactivates the water repellent layer on the outside. After several washes, the outside of your garment will absorb moisture. The jacket will become heavy and feel cold and clammy. When that happens, it is time to impregnate the jacket. Use a product made for the washing machine or choose a spray.
