Very economical in use! Wilderness Wash lasts a long time and is gentle on materials, but very effective against stains. Although it is biodegradable, we recommend not to dispose of it in outdoor water bodies. This way, the surface tension of the water is preserved, and all insects that walk on the water can continue to do so, thus eating all the mosquito larvae!

*It is not recommended to use biodegradable soap for washing in a stream or lake. Although 'biodegradable' suggests that the ingredients can break down over time with the help of water and UV light, such soaps are actually harmful to aquatic life. In accordance with Leave No Trace principles, it's advised to wash at least 200 ft / 70m away from any body of water.
