General

Over the past few seasons anoraks have made a strong comeback. They are relaxed, simple and stylish – all great reasons to check out the Silvani. Built for freeriders, it’s fully waterproof and windproof in a breathable package thanks to two-layer DryVent fabric technology. Underarm vents allow you to let out some steam when charging and the powder skirt keeps snow at bay on deep days. The side-entry zip means you don’t have to be a ninja to get it on and if you want a seamless barrier against snow, you can zip it together with compatible trousers. As it’s a lightweight shell, we recommend pairing the Silvani with a base- and midlayer on cooler days.

Washing waterproof garments

Always review the jacket labels before washing for specific washing instructions. We recommend that you wash your waterproof jacket with a technical detergent on a regular basis. This prevents damage to the waterproof layer. Rise it out well so that there are no soap residues. Never use fabric softener.

Impregnating waterproof garments

When you impregnate your jacket, it is a good idea to put it in the dryer after washing it. This reactivates the water repellent layer on the outside. After several washes, the outside of your garment will absorb moisture. The jacket will become heavy and feel cold and clammy. When that happens, it is time to impregnate the jacket. Use a product made for the washing machine or choose a spray.
