General
The Torstai Andalusia softshell jacket is designed to make spending time outdoors in the transitional seasons enjoyable. It is windproof and quite resistant to water, though not fully waterproof. A little more than half of the fabric consists of REPREVE recycled polyester and the water-resistant impregnation is made with Bionic-Finish Eco, a PFC-free eco-friendly alternative to traditional DWR treatments. There are two zipped pockets at the front, and the fit can be adjusted to your liking at the waist and cuffs.
The product is made with a special focus on ecological and social sustainability, and contains bio-based and recyclable Sorona polymer.

Washing a softshell
To retain the unique properties of a softshell, it's important to wash your jacket regularly with technical detergent and to rinse it well. Do not use fabric softener. Always review the garment labels before washing for specific washing instructions.
Impregnating a softshell
If it's allowed, it is a good idea to put the softshell in the dryer after washing it. This activates the water repellent finish on the outside. After several washes, the outside of your technical clothing will absorb more moisture faster. When that happens, it is time to impregnate the jacket. Use a product made for the washing machine or choose a spray.
