General
Technical, man-made fibres are almost a must when it comes to outdoor wear, but in order to protect the environment, Torstai tries to use as much recycled material as possible. This softshell jacket, with a slim fit, is made with Repreve fibres that have been manufactured from recycled plastic bottles, which helps lessen the environmental load. The windproof and water-repellent membrane and an environmentally-friendly bionic-finish eco water-repellent treatment ensure that you can enjoy the outdoors carefree and without having to worry about small downpours. The seams are, however, not waterproof. The fixed hood has a light padding, which helps keep the head and ears warm. The hood, cuffs and hem are adjustable.

Washing a softshell
To retain the unique properties of a softshell, it's important to wash your jacket regularly with technical detergent and to rinse it well. Do not use fabric softener. Always review the garment labels before washing for specific washing instructions.
Impregnating a softshell
If it's allowed, it is a good idea to put the softshell in the dryer after washing it. This activates the water repellent finish on the outside. After several washes, the outside of your technical clothing will absorb more moisture faster. When that happens, it is time to impregnate the jacket. Use a product made for the washing machine or choose a spray.
