This classic trekking jacket has a strong presence and a waterproof, windproof PU membrane that easily copes with capricious mountain weather. The adjustable hood can be quickly pulled out of the collar when needed to protect your head and neck from the rain. When you need a little more warmth, you can adjust the drawcord closure through the jacket’s pockets. The comfortable inner jacket made from napped fleece keeps you warm without making you overheat when the going gets tougher. The two jackets can be combined to cover a wide range of weather and temperature conditions. The double jacket for hiking is made with eco-friendly, water repellent Eco Finish and is manufactured without the use of fluorocarbons (PFC). The VAUDE Green Shape label stands for environmentally friendly, functional products made from sustainable and bluesign certified materials.

Washing waterproof garments
Always review the jacket labels before washing for specific washing instructions. We recommend that you wash your waterproof jacket with a technical detergent on a regular basis. This prevents damage to the waterproof layer. Rise it out well so that there are no soap residues. Never use fabric softener.
Impregnating waterproof garments
When you impregnate your jacket, it is a good idea to put it in the dryer after washing it. This reactivates the water repellent layer on the outside. After several washes, the outside of your garment will absorb moisture. The jacket will become heavy and feel cold and clammy. When that happens, it is time to impregnate the jacket. Use a product made for the washing machine or choose a spray.
